Email Webmaster

The Internet has been a great boon to U.N.C.L.E. fans, allowing them to chat with each other from all corners of the world about all aspects of fandom. The main vehicle has been via listservs, also known as electronic mailing lists - a subscriber can send an email to one address which will then automatically send the message to everyone else on the list! Topics range from the practical to the arcane; some lists have lots of activity and some very little. If you want to meet and talk to other U.N.C.L.E. fans, this is the way to do it.

Keep in mind that a digest delivery mode is available for all of the following mailing lists - instead of getting individual email, you will get one big email containing all of the messages from the prior day. This reduces the number of email you get - but will not be as timely.

Channel D

By far the oldest U.N.C.L.E. electronic mailing list around, Channel D made its debut in 1995 with 10 or so subscribers without the benefit of any listserv software to automate the process! By March 1999, it has grown to 150+ subscribers and is now operated using the free mailing list service offered by Yahoo Groups.

Channel D is for U.N.C.L.E. fans of all ages to discuss any U.N.C.L.E.-related topic. The volume of email generated by Channel D varies, but 10 or more per day is normal and when a discussion gets heated, it is not unusual to receive 20, 30 messages or more!

Channel M

Are you a fan of David McCallum's? If so, come join in the lively conversations on Channel M. It has been around for several years under various names, and new subscribers are welcome all the time.

Channel V

For Robert Vaughn fans to discuss his works and everything related to the actor.

Channel W

If you are an U.N.C.L.E. fan fiction writer or aspires to be one, check out Channel W. It is a forum for members to discuss all facets of U.N.C.L.E. fan writing - techniques, characterization, research, etc.
